About the Residency
This Meditative Mosaic Art Residency & Apprenticeship, is an immersive experience for artists, makers, and creative explorers of all levels who are eager to deepen their practice and reconnect with their creative voice.
Spend transformative time creating mosaic art, connecting with nature, dropping into the meditation of creating, and immersing in a soulful retreat in San Miguel de Allende, a gorgeous town in the heart of Mexico.
This private one-on-one (or one-on-two) residency, is designed for people exploring their own creativity and/or wanting to produce a body of work while revitalizing in an inspired setting.
Whether you’re an experienced artist or just beginning your mosaic journey, this immersive art residency is a chance to deepen your artistic practice while being guided and supported by Evelyne Pouget— a passionate artist for the last 40 years and 14-year resident of SMA.
San Miguel Art Studio Location
Located in the vibrant, historic city of San Miguel de Allende, Mexico, this program offers participants the opportunity to study mosaic art intensively in a supportive, hands-on environment.
Residents receive personalized instruction by Artist Evelyne Pouget, in mosaic techniques, access to a 24/7 open studio, and time to develop their own projects or collaborations. Alongside technical skill-building, the residency includes guided meditations, nature hikes, creative reflection, and cultural exploration.
Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced artist, this program is designed to inspire, challenge, and transform.
